1844 - 1889
So I write this sonnet about this french girl who what
failed to impress this american girl upon whose couch i was crashing
bc a sonnet was assigned instead a an essay and i siding with pound
as to music vs metronomes wrote something experimental and
deliberately anti-prosodic and hf gives it back and says i'll
be damned if this isn't rem of gm hopkins and i was all i'll be
damned if he ain't what right.
