so whitney houston's on the telly (i told you they were whitney houston espousing over here) singing to these americanavy boys occupying someplace somewhere not america, and she's all working the crowd and shit, in the course a working the crowd or the shit contingent says "till they all come, till they all come home" and i realize that coming from, say, zach de la rocha, those words might make meanings radically different, more poignant.

such as, say, all of which are american dreams being chanted in chorus by the crowd being worked and shit in mexico city, by the above-mentioned de la rocha.

pondering the virtues and vices of americanism.
